Comprehensive Healthcare
Our comprehensive healthcare services include primary, mental, dental, and reproductive health care. Every resident who comes to PFG receives comprehensive, confidential, and coordinated examinations and treatment (with the assistance of the PFG Case Manager). Residents and their children are assigned to a primary care provider whom serves as their medica home. Resident's services include confidential gynecological and family planning services. Both residents and their children receive pediatric care from licensed board certified pediatricians. Dental services for residents (and children 2 and older) are designed to compliment resident's medical needs by providing primary care such as examinations, restorative care (such as dental fillings), prophylaxis (dental cleaning), fluoride treatment and sealants, and other services and referrals as necessary.
Pearls for Girls infant/child residents are cared for by local licensed
state approved child care facilities. Pearls for Girls, Inc has a
collaborative partnership with Lillie's Lil Lamb, a licensed state approved childcare facility located less than 2 miles from the facility. Through this collaborative, parenting residents are able to access quality child care at a reduced rate while enrolled in school and /or employed.
Pearls for Girls staff provide daily transportation for residents to transport their child to daycare and occasional transportation to school (when essentially necessary). We also provide transportation to and from al medical appointments, court hearings, scheduled recreational activities, and other necessary social service appointments.
